Fashion is an attitude

Loretta Caponi starts to embroidery when she was 9 years old. During the fifties she attended some fashion shows in Rome seeking new and elegant clients able to appreciate her style. During that period her artistic sensibility was influenced especially by the Florentine Culture environment.

Loretta Caponi Company, after more than 40 years of activity, keeps inside more than ten thousand of tablecloths, towels, sheets, pillows drawings together with style for man and woman and kids.

On 1967 she opened a little boutique in Borgo Ognissanti (Florence), then moved in the current location in Piazza Antinori. From this date the Loretta Caponi brand started accruing its international fame, including as clients Very Important People of international jet-sets: Lady Diana and Carlo Prince of England, the Rockefeller, the Kennedy, the Schlesinger, Mrs Kissinger, Sting, Jane Fonda and Madonna. Loretta Caponi continues to offer to its clients special productions thanks also to the online Boutique that collects the most successful sartorial creations.

Where creativity becomes reality

The Loretta Caponi workshop in Florence, more than 650 SqM area, is coming out from a deep refurbishment of an old garage with view in Via delle Belle Donne and another shop, base of a pianoforte store in the past with entry from Piazza Antinori.

Close to the wide show room, characterized by high vaulted and fresco ceiling and furnished with antique pieces, there are several workrooms like the drawings archive, the drawing and piercing workroom, the cutting workroom, the sewing and embroidery workroom, the storage of threads and laces and quality check area. In these workrooms skilled workers design and realize exclusives styles carefully over sighted by Loretta & Lucia Caponi.

Loretta Caponi production totally hand-made is available in her two shops, Florence and Forte dei Marmi. In 2013 Loretta Caponi opened the online boutique where it is possible to buy some of its most successful sartorial products.
